Dentistry with a personal touch

Dr. Lake is deeply committed to improving the oral health of our community. He grew up in California and studied Neurobiology at UC Berkeley before attending Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City, earning his DDS degree (Doctor of Dental Surgery) in 2008. Dr. Lake continued his education and training in dentistry through a residency at Saint Barnabas Hospital in the heart of The Bronx. Early in his career, Dr. Lake started a home decor Import/Export business in San Diego before going into Network Engineering in the San Francisco Bay Area. Dr. Lake knows that a visit to the dentist can be intimidating and stressful. He takes pride in making the experience as pleasant and comfortable as possible.

Sarah is a Bay Area native and a mom to 6-year-old Elyse and 3-year-old Myles. She started her dental career as a Registered Dental Assistant in 2000, then attended Chabot College in Hayward to become a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2014. Sarah is one of Dr. Lake’s first dental hygienists and has been with the practice since early 2015. In her free time, Sarah enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her family.

Christine is one of the first friendly faces you'll meet welcoming you to our practice. She is passionate about ensuring that our patients feel valued and cared for every step of the way. Christine is a positive person who loves to spread happiness to everyone she encounters. In her free time she loves to go on adventures with her dog Henry, write, and go on food adventures. 

Sarah June received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in the Philippines in 1994. In 1995, she worked in Singapore as a Senior Clinical Assistant, specializing in Cosmetic and Dental Implants Surgery. In 2003, she moved to San Francisco, earning her license as a Registered Dental Assistant license in 2004. Sarah June's pride and passion for dentistry puts patients at ease. Everyone loves her warmth and demeanor. When she's not working, Sarah June loves to cook, dance, sing, travel, hike, swim, bowl, and play pickleball.

Originally from Chicago, Allison came to San Francisco in 2009. She graduated from Boston University with degrees in Communications and Psychology and worked in technology public relations before finding her true calling in dental hygiene. Allison was the 2018 class salutatorian for the University of the Pacific. Allison volunteers as the Co-Chair for the California Dental Hygienists' Association Government Relations Council and is also active locally with San Francisco Dental Hygiene Society. Allison enjoys spending time with her family, trail running, and hiking.

Michael attended Santa Rosa Junior College, receiving his dental hygiene license in 2006 and completing his Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2020 from Foothill College. He is faculty at the University of Pacific School of Dentistry and the Chair of the California Dental Hygienists' Assn Foundation, a 501(c)(3). Michael is an active member of the San Franciso Dental Hygiene Society and an advocate for community oral health programs. In his spare time, Michael enjoys cycling, gardening, and photography.
